Unhindered access to knowledge increases the odds of employment for persons with disabilities, thereby making them independent, and releasing them from poverty and social exclusion, which was one of the motives for creating our current project, “Information of Importance”. Our idea is to provide persons with disabilities, from Jagodina, Ćuprija, and Paraćin, the IT related knowledge and skills – programming, 3D, web design, video editing, and also the knowledge needed for self-employment, establishing small companies and associations, and freelancing on the internet. This is the way in which we would like to open new horizons to persons with disabilities, to improve their standing on the labour market, and to give them the confidence needed to apply for the now available positions. We would like to express gratitude to Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications for their help and support, for without it we would not have been able to could not be able to make this project a reality.

The project was conducted from the 4th of September 2015, until the 4th of May 2016.
