“Information of Importance” Public Forum Held
On the 01st of October, starting at 7:00 PM, a public forum was held in the atrium of the Cultural Centre of Jagodina. The topic of the forum was the project “Information of Importance”. The goal of the project, which the public was made aware of during this forum, is the IT education of persons with disabilities (graphic and web design, programming, 3D modelling, video editing). The speakers at the forum have mentioned the current position of persons with disabilities in Serbia, as well as the immediate region, the possibilities of improving the position of persons with disabilities, and the ways of self-employment and freelancing on the internet. We would like to express our sincere gratitude not only to the staff of the Cultural Centre of Jagodina, for their courtesy and professionalism, but to everyone who, simply by being at the forum, supported our efforts in improving the lives of persons with disabilities in our region. We owe special thanks to the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications, for without their support it would have been impossible to make this project a reality.
